![]() Happy Friday Everyone! You've made it. We’ve survived another work week and I hope you have a great weekend to look forward to. Some of you may have a couple of exciting things lined up while others are still trying to find the answer to that important question “what am I going to do this weekend?” Well, I have two apps that can help you find an answer to that question. ![]() I believe you can never go wrong with movie night and Movie Night Out, makes finding a movie simple and easy. This app does movie night right because it also helps you find something to do before and after the movie. Simply choose the date and time you want go out and it will help you build the perfect night on the town. You can decide the order of events and what genre of movie you want to see. Your results will provide reviews, map the directions of the movie theater and will even give you the ability to purchase tickets via Fandango. You can then save the details to share with your friends or date using email, text message or Twitter. Movie Night Out is free and is available for both Android and iPhone users. I truly like this app because it basically takes the guess work out of figuring out what to do and where to go. ![]() “What can I help you with?” That is how the Siri app greets you each and every time. Siri is a modern day personal assistant built using AI technology. Siri can provide information ranging from the closest New York style Pizza to what is the temperature in Memphis. Siri also works with OpenTable, so you can not only find a great restaurant but make reservations, as well. You have the option of typing or speaking your request, which worked well for me. The cool part about it - this free app becomes smarter the more you use it. You will never be lost with this app. It completely replaces your weather app, restaurant finder, movie finder and also that app you use to remind yourself of upcoming events. And at the end of the night, you can go back to Siri and update your twitter followers by posting a status. Do you have a favorite app that you use to help plan an eventful night? For all of you iPhone users out there, you definitely need to get this free app. The voice recognition feature is very accurate and pulls up exactly what you're looking for. Not too many apps out there can compare with this one. Leave a Reply |
