The newest smartphone is running Android 2.2 and features a 3.8 WVGA resolution display touch screen, micro SD expansion slot, 4GB internal memory, 8 GB pre-installed memory card and WiFi- radio. The biggest feature is the video calling. The phone comes equipped with a 5 MP rear facing HD camera and a front facing camera and will be supported over WiFi and T-Mobile’s 3G network with the help of Qik or Yahoo Messenger (Take note AT&T and Apple!). MyTouch is compatible with T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network making it capable of offering speeds comparable to 4G. It will run on a 1GHz processor and will be available in white, black, plum or red. Without the slide out feature it has a resemblance of a myTouch 3G Slide. The myTouch is expected to be available in time for the holiday season. At press time, no price information was available.
